On September 5, 2011, a child riding her bike was injured when she was allegdly struck by a SEPTA bus Monday morning at the intersection of 67th and Dicks Avenues before noon. The 7 year old girl was transported to the 7-year-old girl to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition.
The girl's injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
It is always important whether you are riding a bike or walking on the street to be aware and careful of vehicles around you. Accidents can happen at any time resulting in serious injuries.
